As a Wildlife Technician (Pest Management Professional – PMP) at Bug Busters, you will:
You will use your skills as a carpenter to perform exclusion services for both residential and commercial properties.
- Provides nuisance wildlife and pest control in accordance with company policies, guidelines, directives, and standards.
- Increase customer base through customer referrals and solicitation on a daily basis.
- Responds to all leads in an appropriate and efficient manner
- Complete all tasks in a conscious and safe manner.
- Responsible for operating the vehicle in a safe manner and in accordance with all state laws.
- Investigates problems to identify the animal or pest.
- Choose the most appropriate method of control for the area. Carries out appropriate trapping, baiting, or treatment.
- Provides exclusion or proofing work to prevent pests from returning. Provides necessary clean up of soiled material or guano.
- Completes required documentation, obtains appropriate signatures, and submits documentation as required for each assigned duty.
- Efficiently utilizes supplies and equipment according to departmental guidelines; to include the efficient operation of all equipment, properly logging in and out equipment, and cleaning and restocking vehicles.
- Ensures the vehicle and equipment are consistently maintained in a clean, organized, and ready condition.
- Ensures proper maintenance, fuel, fluid, and tire pressure levels at all times.
- Reports vehicle or equipment damage. Have brakes checked twice a year or more often as needed.
- Maintains working knowledge, proficiency, and standards specific to the employee’s certification.
- Assures vehicle has up to date license plate, and inspection (if required by state).
- Prompt and regular attendance at work Monday through Friday.
- Communicates with the Manager daily at specified times and as needed or directed throughout the day.
- To carry out any additional tasks as requested by the direct manager for the success of its operation.
- Able to lift from 10 to 45 lbs if needed, (ladder & Move furniture)

Qualifications:
- Minimum of 2 to 5 years of work experience (3+ years in a similar role is a plus).
- Valid Driver’s License (Required) and a clean driving record.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong work ethic, reliability, and a positive attitude.
- Ability to work independently and manage your time effectively.
- Comfortable with occasional travel (7-10 days per month) which may involve driving up to 200 miles from the Milledgeville branch in a company vehicle.
- Ability to pass a pre-employment drug screen as Bug Busters is a Drug-Free Workplace
Schedule:
- Full-time
- 8-hour shift
- Day shift
- Monday to Friday
Pay: From $17.00 – $20.00 per hour (commensurate with experience)
Work Location: On the road.
