Wheel Loader – Infrastructure (Water & Sewer)

Thompson Construction Group has immediate openings for Water and Sewer Wheel Loader Operators supporting our Infrastructure division’s land development and subdivision projects in the Calgary area.

Responsibilities:

• Move pipe and materials around site as required by crew activities
• Load and unload materials on trucks
• Provide sand and aggregate to crew
• Participate in daily safety meetings and adhere to all company safety policies and procedures
• Report all incidents, near misses, and equipment damage to site supervision
• Maintain effective communication with supervisors and crew members
• Work collaboratively as part of a construction crew to meet project timelines

Qualifications:

• Minimum 3 years of experience as a Wheel loader operator
• Reliable transportation to and from site
• Ability to work extended hours, including up to 12 hours per day, Monday to Saturday
• Valid Class 5 Driver’s License is considered an asset
• Ability to perform physically demanding work in an outdoor construction environment
