Role Description
This is an on-site, contract role for a Senior Wellsite Geologist located in Calgary, Alberta. As a Senior Wellsite Geologist, you will be responsible for providing geologic interpretation and geosteering services on various projects.
You will
also be responsible for analyzing data and providing technical input to team members, as well as participating in field studies and preparing technical reports for clients.
Qualifications Bachelor’s, Master’s, or Doctorate degree in Geology, Earth Science, or a related field
Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in wellsite geology, geosteering, and geoscience studies
Expert knowledge in applicable geologic and geosteering software (Star Steer)
Demonstrated expertise in drilling operations, formation evaluation, well logging, and completions
Excellent
communication
and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work in a
team environment
and interface with clients
Self-motivated, able to manage multiple projects and deadlines, and able to work independently
Willingness to
travel and work on-site at various locations
Professional designations and certifications in relevant areas are considered an asset
