We are searching for a Full Time and Part Time
Wellness Centre Attendant to join our Recreation & Wellness team at Parkland Ancaster based in Ancaster, Ontario
.

Reporting directly to the Recreation Manager, the Wellness Centre Attendant is the primary host and central point of contact for the wellness space, responsible for creating a welcoming, organized, and high-quality experience for residents and users. This role supports the day-to-day operation of the Wellness Centre by ensuring the space is well managed, engaging, and operationally efficient, while delivering exceptional service and fostering a positive environment for all users.

  • About the Opportunity

  • Welcome residents and users to the Wellness Centre, providing a warm, professional, and service-focused experience
  • Lead personalized tours and orientations for new residents and users, introducing amenities, programs, services, and space features
  • Coordinate daily operations of the Wellness Centre, including registrations, scheduling, check-ins, and supporting third-party vendors as required
  • Maintain accurate participation and attendance records
  • Respond to inquiries and requests with professionalism and a commitment to service excellence
  • Monitor and maintain refreshment and wellness stations to ensure items are fresh, stocked, and presented to a high standard
  • Adhere to food safety and sanitation standards while collaborating with Culinary teams as required
  • Complete regular walkthroughs to ensure the Wellness Centre remains clean, organized, and welcoming
  • Support the overall ambiance of the space, including lighting, temperature, and music
  • Promote a safe environment by monitoring for hazards and responding appropriately to incidents or emergencies
  • Follow all community safety protocols and operational standards
  • Additional duties as required
  • About You

    In addition to placing high value on continuous improvement, collaboration and accountability, you bring:

  • 2–3 years of experience in hospitality, customer service, senior living, recreation, or a similar service-focused environment
  • High school diploma and CPR/AED and First Aid certifications considered an asset
  • Strong interpersonal skills with a warm, welcoming, and professional approach with a genuine interest in working with seniors and supporting exceptional resident experiences
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
  • Ability to work independently while maintaining a high level of attention to detail
