Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Welder/Fabricator to join our team. We are rebuilding tow trucks, and repairing semi trailers. We provide welding equipment. This could be Full time or part time.
Duties
- Perform MIG and TIG welding on a variety of metals, including ductwork and structural components
- Building and repairing Tow trucks and trailers
- Operate plasma cutting equipment, press brake machines, and hand tools for precise fabrication tasks
- Maintain equipment such as power tools, welding machines, and machining tools in good working condition
- Follow safety protocols related to welding, rigging, machining, and general manufacturing practices
Qualifications
- Proven experience in welding (MIG and TIG) with the ability to read blueprints and schematics
- Mechanical knowledge related to fabrication processes, assembly, and construction applications
- Proficiency with hand tools, power tools, calipers, and plasma cutting equipment
- Basic math skills for measurements and calculations necessary for fabrication tasks
- Ability to work independently or as part of a team in a fast-paced environment
- Strong attention to detail with a focus on safety compliance in all operations
Pay: $28.00-$30.00 per hour
