Established in 2007, QuartzCo is a leader in the Ontario stone installation and fabrication industry. With a continued focus on service and customer relationships, QuartzCo is growing rapidly and looking for team members who will help to support and grow our brand in the Ontario market.
We are looking for someone who could work morning or afternoon shift.
As a Water Jet Operator you are responsible for operating the Water Jet Machines to cut stone.
Morning shift is Monday to Friday 6 AM – 3 PM
Afternoon shift is Monday to Thursday 3PM to 1 AM or 4 PM to 2 AM
Responsibilities and Duties
· Read, understand and execute production instructions
· Operate the Water jet machines
· Follow and maintain production timelines
· Production quality control
· Perform general duties involving physical handling of products, materials and supplies and basic machine adjustments and maintenance
· Maintain and keep work space clean and organized
· Maintain company safety guidelines and practices
Qualifications
· High school diploma or GED
· Previous experience working in a manufacturing facility is preferred
· Strong attention to detail
· Skilled at troubleshooting and resolving mechanical or logistical problems that arise
· Ability to push, pull and move equipment and stone in excess of 50 lbs
· Positive and professional attitude
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Salary: $20.00-$23.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40 – 44 per week
