Part-Time Warehouse Associate / Forklift Operator
Location: Cancork Floor – 104-3170 194 St, Surrey, BC V3Z 9V2
Schedule: Monday to Friday, 9:30 AM – 1:30 PM
Cancork Floor is looking for a dependable, hardworking, and detail-oriented Warehouse Associate / Forklift Operator to join our team. We are looking for someone who takes pride in accuracy, works carefully, and helps keep the warehouse organized and efficient. Key Responsibilities
- Pick and pack products accurately for ground and pallet shipments
- Operate a stand-up forklift to pick pallets from warehouse racking systems
- Load and unload shipments from delivery trucks and customer pickups
- Assist with container unloading using a power pallet jack when required
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe warehouse environment
- Perform inventory counts and update inventory using basic computer systems
- Dispose of warehouse garbage into outdoor bins as needed
- Assist customers with order pickups and loading materials into vehicles
- Ensure all orders are packed and shipped correctly — attention to detail is very important
Requirements
- Minimum 2 years of warehouse experience
- Valid forklift certification required
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs (most boxes are approximately 28 lbs)
- Strong attention to detail with a focus on accuracy and minimizing mistakes
- Good physical condition and ability to work on your feet
- Reliable, responsible, and hardworking
- Able to multitask and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
- Basic computer skills for inventory and shipping systems
