We are hiring in our warehouse/retail in preparation for our back to school season.
Canada Summer Jobs Program
Temporary Summer employment: May 1- August 21 (approx. 30 hours/week – could extend – Under 30 years of age)
Our company is filled with educational materials, teaching resources and learning tools for teachers, childcare centres, parents, and children.
Our shelves are stocked with thousands of the highest quality learning tools the educational industry has to offer. We carefully select each item to bring the best, proven, and most current learning tools to our specialty clients. Inside our warehouse, you will find the best selection of educational games, toys, puppets, puzzles, classroom decoratives, teacher essentials, resource books, math and language aids, arts and crafts materials, workbooks and more!
Our ideal candidate is looking for summer employment between May 1 to August 21, interested in day shifts (and possibly some night shifts), and will have the following qualifications.
Exceptional team player skills and attention to detail skills.
Enjoys keeping busy, moving through a variety of daily tasks and supporting the warehouse team in different ways
Looking to learn a variety of new skills
The ability to make decisions quickly, has initiative and can work independently
Strong organizational, multi-tasking and time management skills
A ‘’go getter’, fun and hard working attitude
The successful candidate will work alongside our warehouse/retail team and assist with general warehouse duties such as pulling customer orders, packing orders, shipping, receiving, checking orders, providing customer service, laminating, transferring inventory, managing butterfly orders, cleaning, landscaping and a variety of other tasks. They will learn how to use our POS system and develop computer skills.
