Fang LLC is a growing e-commerce and distribution company serving automotive parts, furniture, home improvement, and related product categories through online marketplaces and company operated warehouses. We are hiring a hands-on Warehouse Supervisor for our Bloomington, California warehouse.
Position Summary
We are seeking a Warehouse Supervisor who can manage daily warehouse operations, lead warehouse associates, maintain accurate inventory records, and improve operational efficiency. This role requires strong floor presence, attention to detail, clear communication, and the ability to follow through on daily priorities.
Mandarin Chinese and English communication skills are required because this role involves regular work related communication with Mandarin speaking operations team members and English speaking warehouse staff, carriers, vendors, and cross functional partners.
Schedule
Monday to Friday, 8:30 AM to 5:00 PM, or as business needs require. Meal and rest breaks are provided according to company policy and applicable California law.
Pay Range
USD 22.00 to USD 30.00 per hour.
Key Responsibilities
Warehouse Operations
– Supervise daily receiving, put away, picking, packing, shipping, returns, reverse logistics, and warehouse organization.
– Assign daily tasks to warehouse associates and monitor work progress, productivity, accuracy, and completion.
– Coordinate inbound and outbound workflow to ensure orders and shipments are processed accurately and on time.
– Monitor warehouse supply usage, including packing materials, labels, tools, and related supplies, and coordinate timely replenishment.
– Lead daily stand-up meetings or shift updates to communicate priorities, address questions, and follow up on open issues.
– Maintain a clean, organized, and safe warehouse environment.
– Support warehouse layout improvements, storage utilization, labeling, and workflow efficiency.
Inventory Control
– Maintain inventory accuracy through cycle counts, stock checks, location audits, and discrepancy research.
– Ensure inventory movements are recorded accurately in WMS, ERP, spreadsheets, barcode systems, or other company tools.
– Investigate shortages, overages, damaged goods, missing items, and location errors.
– Prepare inventory, receiving, shipping, productivity, and exception reports as needed.
– Follow up on inventory exceptions promptly and work to resolve recurring issues through training, documentation, and process improvement.
Quality and Process Control
– Check incoming and outgoing goods for visible damage, quantity discrepancies, labeling issues, packaging concerns, and incorrect items.
– Document warehouse quality issues with photos, notes, and clear escalation to management.
– Follow and help improve SOPs for receiving, storage, picking, packing, shipping, returns, and inventory control.
– Track recurring warehouse errors and help implement corrective actions.
– Support continuous improvement projects that reduce errors, improve speed, and strengthen accountability.
Team Leadership and Training
– Train warehouse associates on daily procedures, safety rules, equipment use, inventory accuracy, and quality expectations.
– Communicate daily priorities clearly and professionally in English and Mandarin when needed for work related operations.
– Monitor attendance, work performance, housekeeping, and compliance with warehouse procedures.
– Escalate staffing, safety, quality, or productivity concerns to management in a timely manner.
– Promote a practical, accountable team culture focused on accuracy, urgency, and follow-through.
Safety and Compliance
– Enforce warehouse safety rules and company procedures.
– Support OSHA-aligned practices, safe lifting, proper use of warehouse equipment, and incident prevention.
– Report unsafe conditions, accidents, near misses, or equipment issues immediately.
– Perform other related duties as assigned to support warehouse operations.
Performance Expectations
– Maintain outbound shipping accuracy at 99% or the site target confirmed by management.
– Help keep inventory discrepancy rates within site targets and follow up on exceptions within 48 hours when practical.
– Prepare clear daily or weekly operational updates covering order progress, exceptions, staffing, productivity, and improvement actions.
– Reduce recurring process errors through training, root cause review, and workflow adjustment.
– Use basic data, reports, and operational observations to support better scheduling, inventory control, and warehouse execution.
Qualifications
– Bilingual Mandarin Chinese and English communication skills are required for job related warehouse operations communication.
– 2 or more years of warehouse, distribution, fulfillment, logistics, or inventory control experience required.
– 1 or more years of lead, supervisor, or team coordination experience preferred.
– Experience with receiving, shipping, cycle counts, inventory reconciliation, returns, and warehouse documentation preferred.
– Familiarity with WMS, ERP, barcode scanning systems, Microsoft Excel, Google Sheets, or similar tools preferred.
– Forklift certification or warehouse equipment experience is a plus but not required at the time of application.
– Strong attention to detail, follow-through, communication, urgency, accountability, and problem solving skills.
– Basic statistical, reporting, or analytical skills are preferred.
– Must be able to work onsite in Bloomington, California.
– Employment is contingent on verification of authorization to work in the United States as required by federal law.
Physical Requirements
This role may require standing and walking for extended periods, bending, reaching, climbing steps, and occasionally lifting, pushing, pulling, or moving items up to 25 to 50 lbs with or without reasonable accommodation.
