Position Overview:
We are seeking a motivated and organized individual to join our team as a Warehouse Supervisor. The ideal candidate will have experience working in a warehouse environment, excellent organizational skills, and the ability to lead and motivate a small team.
Responsibilities:
Work directly with the order desk and purchasing department to ensure timely processing of orders and accurate inventory management.
Directly supervise and work alongside 2-3 warehouse employees, providing guidance and support as needed.
Maintain a clean and safe work environment, adhering to all company safety protocols.
Oversee receiving, storing, and shipping of products, ensuring accuracy and efficiency.
Monitor inventory levels and assist with inventory counts as required.
Train new warehouse staff on company policies, procedures, and equipment operation.
Perform other duties as assigned by management.
Requirements:
High school diploma or equivalent.
Proven experience working in a warehouse environment.
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
Ability to lift and carry items weighing 60+ pounds.
Forklift certification/license would be an asset.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Flexibility to work occasional overtime as needed.
