Job Overview
As a Warehouse Shipper you are responsible for organizing and assembling A-frames of completed jobs to ship to various sites to be unloaded and installed. These jobs will be made up of countertops and vanities of quartz, marble, granite, and porcelain.
Responsibilities and Duties
Responsibilities for this position include:
Pick jobs to be loaded onto A-frames from list provided. Load and pack A-frames to ensure pieces are not broken in transit.
Ensure appropriate supplies such as sinks, glue, silicone and plywood are included in shipment for install.
Organize warehouse area so pieces of stone are easily accessible and jobs in order
Ability to operate a forklift and overhead crane
Adherence to workplace safety rules and regulations, ensuring health and safety is a priority
Safeguard warehouse operations and contents
Qualifications
· High school diploma or GED
· Valid Forklift License
· Previous experience working in a manufacturing facility is preferred
· Strong attention to detail
· Skilled at troubleshooting and resolving mechanical or logistical problems that arise
· Ability to push, pull and move equipment and stone in excess of 50 lbs
· Positive and professional attitude
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Pay: $21.00-$23.00 per hour
