Purpose:
Reporting to the Warehouse Supervisor, Warehouse Receiving is responsible for maintaining the receiving and shipping log, accurately placing all received stock on shelves.
What you’ll do:
Responsible for designating items for customer orders and placing all items specific to a job together.
Accountable for picking items off the shelves, ensuring accuracy in quantity and type of product selected.
Responsible for expediting the orders to the customers or branches according to specified time commitments as well as operating with a forklift to load and unload trucks, gather stock from the warehouse and more.
What it takes:
Education and Experience:
Grade 12 education or equivalent experience.
Ability to handle and lift goods up to 60 lbs.
Forklift experience.
Safe Warehouse Operating Practices.
Co-operative teamwork.
Key Skills and Attributes:
Knowledge of the SAP Inventory Module.
WHMIS/TDG certification.
