Giant Tiger Wholesale is looking to hire a Warehouse Receiver for our fully automated 660,000 square foot distribution centre in Johnstown, ON! Giant Tiger Wholesale – We can offer:
Starting wage of $19.43/hour!
Additional $2/hour for hours worked 9:00pm – 6:00am
Automatic milestone wage increases at 1040 hours, 2080 hours, 4160 hours and annually after that;

Warehouse Receiver Job Highlights:
Unloading of goods in a safe and efficient manner using a counter balance or low lift forklift;
Verify items received for accuracy against purchase orders (ASNs);
Report quality variances and ensure accuracy in the type and quantity of received product;
Enter product information into computer systems;
Assign active pick locations for new products;
Apply License Plate Numbers (LPNs) verifying physical quantity of merchandise with quantity indicated on the ASN;
Clearly sign all transport documentation and indicate any discrepancies;
Complete non-compliance for vendors who do not follow GTW’s shipping standards.
Warehouse Receiver Job Requirements:
Familiar with material handling equipment;
Excellent communication skills;
Self-motivated; ability to work without direct supervision;
Experience with or a basic understanding of personal computer is required;
Voice picking or Manhattan Warehouse Management System (WMOS) experience is an asset.
Receiver Job Schedule:
Sunday – Thursday; 6:00am – 2:30pm
