Refreshment Services Pepsi is seeking a Warehouse Picker / Loader to join our warehouse team.
- This is a hands-on warehouse picking role. Employees spend most of the shift walking the warehouse, lifting beverage cases, and building orders. While forklift experience is helpful, the primary responsibility is manual order picking.
This is a physically active position ideal for someone who enjoys staying busy and working in a fast-paced warehouse environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Pick beverage products from warehouse racks using order sheets
- Build delivery orders on U-shaped carts or pallets
- Load delivery trucks with product according to route load sheets
- Unload incoming product and place it in the proper warehouse location
- Rotate stock properly while storing new product
- Wrap pallets using stretch wrap to prevent product loss during transportation
- Reload trucks with damaged or recyclable product for return to Wispak
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe warehouse environment
- Perform general warehouse cleaning, including operating a floor scrubber
- Assist with light maintenance tasks around the facility
- Fill CO₂ tanks as needed
- Perform other warehouse duties as assigned
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED required
- Forklift experience or certification preferred but not the primary duty of the role
- Ability to follow written and verbal instructions
- Strong attention to detail when building orders
Physical Requirements
This is a physically demanding warehouse position. Employees should expect to:
- Frequently lift up to 60 lbs
- Perform repetitive lifting throughout the shift
- Push, pull, bend, stoop, twist, and walk frequently
- Work in varying conditions including heat, cold, indoor and outdoor environments
