As our business continues to grow, we are seeking a dedicated Warehouse Operations Supervisor to help drive operational excellence, support our warehouse and transportation teams, and ensure the seamless movement of freight throughout our network.
Key Responsibilities
Warehouse & Logistics Operations
- Workflow Coordination: Oversee the daily receipt, sorting, scanning, weighing, and dispatch of international and domestic cargo.
- Team Leadership: Train, schedule, and supervise warehouse personnel, fostering an efficient, organized, and safety-first work environment.
- Documentation & Compliance: Ensure all manifests, bills of lading, and customs paperwork are accurately processed and recorded in the database.
- Inventory & Space Management: Optimize floor layout for incoming and outgoing shipments and monitor inventory levels of packaging supplies.
Fleet Management & Dispatching
- Route & Driver Scheduling: Coordinate daily dispatch schedules and optimal routing for linehaul drivers and local delivery couriers.
- Vehicle Maintenance: Monitor fleet health, schedule preventative maintenance, and coordinate timely repairs to minimize vehicle downtime.
- Fleet Compliance: Maintain updated records of vehicle registrations, commercial insurance, fuel cards, and driver logbooks.
- Safety & Standards: Enforce strict adherence to transportation safety regulations and conduct regular vehicle condition checks.
Qualifications & Requirements
- Language Skills: Professional fluency in English and Ukrainian (both written and verbal communication are essential).
- Professional Experience: Minimum 2 years of supervisory experience in warehouse logistics, freight forwarding, dispatching, transportation, or fleet management.
- Physical Capability: Ability to safely assist with physical tasks on the warehouse floor, including lifting packages up to 50 lbs as required by occupational standards.
- Licensing: Valid driver's license with a clean driving abstract (commercial driving experience or certifications are considered an asset).
- Technical Proficiency: Competence in Microsoft Office (particularly Excel), Warehouse Management Systems (WMS), and GPS tracking/telematics software.
- Legal Status: Legally authorized to work full-time in Canada (Canadian Citizen, Permanent Resident, or holder of a valid Open Work Permit).
