Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Warehouse Manager to oversee daily warehouse and logistics operations in Victoria. This role involves managing warehouse functions, leading driver and warehouse teams, ensuring operational efficiency, and maintaining strong communication with customers.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee all warehouse operations, including receiving, storage, and dispatch of goods
- Manage inventory and maintain accurate stock levels using warehouse management systems
- Coordinate inbound and outbound shipments, including scheduling deliveries and pickups
- Lead and manage both warehouse staff and driver teams to ensure smooth daily operations
- Track, monitor, and follow up on KPIs such as delivery performance, safety, productivity, and compliance
- Train, coach, and develop team members to drive performance and operational success
- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations and maintain a safe working environment
- Optimize warehouse layout and workflows to improve efficiency and reduce costs
- Communicate with customers, address inquiries, and resolve operational or service-related issues
- Handle escalations related to delays, damages, or delivery challenges
- Manage and execute operational projects, including process improvements and new initiatives
- Work closely with dispatch, logistics, and operations teams to meet timelines and service expectations
- Prepare reports on inventory, performance metrics, and operational efficiency
- Develop and implement standard operating procedures (SOPs)
- Support hiring, onboarding, and performance management of staff
- Coordinate with external vendors, carriers, and partners
- Assist with budgeting, cost control, and resource planning
- Step in to support operations during peak periods or staffing shortages
- Perform any additional responsibilities as required to support business operations
Qualifications & Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Warehouse Manager or similar role
- Strong knowledge of warehouse operations, logistics, and inventory control
- Experience managing teams, including drivers and warehouse staff
- Familiarity with KPI tracking and performance management
- Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Knowledge of health and safety regulations
- Forklift certification (preferred)
- Valid driver’s license (preferred)
