Overview:
Western Varieties Wholesale is a locally owned and operated business, looking to add a warehouse hand to our friendly warehouse team.
The warehouse hand will assist with all aspects of the warehouse primarily including receiving/checking in deliveries, order picking and inventory organization. This position reports directly to the warehouse team lead. This shifts for this full-time position will be Tuesday to Saturday.
Key Duties:
Receives all goods according to standard procedures, recording all incoming shipments, checking shipments against purchase orders, and verifying contents of shipments against packing slips.
Able to operate standard warehouse machinery including pallet jack and pallet stacker to move product to/from trucks and within the warehouse.
Manually unloads multiple cartons and places cartons on pallets as requested. Cartons weigh up to 50lbs each.
Organizes and condenses inventory regularly to maintain optimal warehouse efficiency for our order picker.
Assists with order picking.
Assists our sales team to stock our showroom inventory when needed.
Maintains good housekeeping and orderliness in the warehouse, including general janitorial duties.
Assists in the other areas of the warehouse according to the workload requirements.
Required Skills:
Basic computer skills including MS Office, Google Workspace and database management.
Good problem solving, mathematical skills and troubleshooting ability.
Must be a self-starter, have excellent communication skills and thrive on working in teams.
Abe to work quickly and efficiently to complete responsibilities.
Must be able to consistently meet production requirements.
Must possess strong attention to detail and be able to follow instructions accurately.
Able to complete physically demanding tasks.
Experience:
Minimum 2 years experience in a warehouse setting.
Wage will be based off of experience.

Pay: $18.00-$22.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40 – 50 per week
