We are looking for a Warehouse General Laborer to join our team and help with various tasks. The ideal candidate will have strong physical stamina, a willingness to work in a fast-paced environment, and an ability to follow instructions accurately.
Responsibilities:
Loading and unloading of transport vehicles as needed
Fill warehouse orders: Picking and packing
Physically move products going out for shipment or coming in for storage
Count, sort, weigh, and unpack materials
Sort, organize and communicate errors or discrepancies to relevant parties
Back up driver for deliveries
General driving knowledge of the GTA with previous driving experience
Prioritize issues and responsibilities based on priority
Ensuring cleanliness, tidiness and safety of work environment
Other responsibilities set forth by the warehouse supervisor
The Ideal Candidate:
Excellent organizational, communication and social skills.
Ability to follow detailed instructions and is detail oriented
Understanding of inventory
Flexible and dependable
Honest, punctual, ability to work well with others
Multi-task and prioritize
Self-motivated and goal orientated.
Can work independently or part of a team based on need and follow instructions and prioritize tasks
Have the physical strength and dexterity to lift and carry up to 80 lbs
Ability to tolerate potentially long periods of time on your feet.
Ability to bend, stoop, and twist repetitively
Ability to read and understand work orders and verbal instructions (in English)
CSA Safety shoes are required when operating palette jacks.
Education and Training Requirements
High School Diploma
Valid Ontario drivers licence with a clean driving abstract.

Health and dental plans after 3 months ( participation is obligatory)

RRSP program after 1 year employment
2 weeks vacation per year and 1 week during December Holidays
Starting salary: $18.50 and will be re-evaluated after 3 month performance review
