We are seeking a motivated and organized Warehouse Coordinator to take ownership of our warehouse operations and inventory management. This role is critical to supporting our installation teams and ensuring projects run efficiently.

Position Overview

The Warehouse Coordinator is responsible for the day-to-day operation, organization, and maintenance of the company warehouse. This includes inventory management, shipping and receiving, project material staging, warehouse organization, and inventory accuracy.

This position is ideal for someone who enjoys creating order from chaos, developing efficient systems, and taking pride in maintaining a clean, organized, and functional workspace. The successful candidate will be self-motivated, detail-oriented, and capable of taking ownership of warehouse operations with minimal supervision.

Primary ResponsibilitiesWarehouse Organization & Maintenance

  • Maintain a clean, safe, organized, and efficient warehouse environment
  • Organize inventory into clearly defined and labeled storage locations
  • Develop and maintain warehouse organization systems and procedures
  • Continuously improve warehouse layout, storage methods, and workflows
  • Monitor warehouse cleanliness and ensure safe working conditions
  • Identify and implement opportunities to improve efficiency and organization

Inventory Management

  • Receive, count, label, and track incoming inventory
  • Maintain accurate inventory records using company inventory management software
  • Perform regular inventory audits, cycle counts, and inventory reconciliation
  • Track inventory movement and investigate discrepancies
  • Monitor stock levels and communicate replenishment needs
  • Ensure inventory accuracy and accountability throughout the organization

Shipping & Receiving

  • Process and verify incoming shipments
  • Prepare, package, and coordinate outgoing shipments
  • Coordinate freight deliveries and pickups
  • Inspect shipments for accuracy and damage
  • Maintain shipping and receiving records

Project Material Staging

  • Pull and stage materials for upcoming installation projects
  • Verify project materials are complete and accurate before technician pickup
  • Coordinate with project managers and installation teams to support project schedules
  • Maintain job-specific inventory allocations and material tracking
  • Ensure technicians have the necessary materials to complete installations efficiently

Returned Materials & Inventory Reconciliation

  • Receive and process materials returned from job sites
  • Inspect returned items and determine proper disposition
  • Return unused materials to inventory accurately and promptly
  • Maintain designated areas for returned materials, RMAs, project surplus, and damaged goods
  • Reconcile returned materials against project records and inventory systems

Process Development & Improvement

  • Develop and maintain standardized warehouse procedures
  • Create and improve systems that increase efficiency, accountability, and inventory accuracy
  • Assist in developing inventory tracking and material handling procedures
  • Recommend and implement improvements to warehouse operations
  • Support ongoing process improvement initiatives across the company

QualificationsRequired

  • Previous warehouse, inventory, logistics, operations, or related experience
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Ability to work independently and manage priorities effectively
  • Comfortable using computers and software systems
  • Ability to lift and move 50 pounds regularly
  • Ability to stand, walk, bend, and perform physical tasks throughout the day
  • Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
  • Strong communication and problem-solving skills

Preferred

  • Experience managing warehouse inventory systems
  • Experience with inventory management software
  • Experience supporting construction, electrical, low-voltage, technology integration, or AV installation teams
  • Experience staging materials for projects
  • Experience reconciling returned materials and maintaining inventory accuracy
  • Familiarity with purchasing, inventory control, and warehouse best practices
  • Experience in the Audio/Video, Smart Home, Security, or Automation industries

Compensation & Benefits

  • $18.00 – $22.00 per hour, depending on experience
