Warehouse Associate/Forklift Operator Jobs in Brampton at Quick HR
Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled Forklift Operator to join our warehouse team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for operating a forklift to move, locate, relocate, stack, and count merchandise.
Duties:
– Safely operate a forklift to transport materials within the warehouse
– Load and unload trucks using forklifts or other material handling equipment
– Perform daily equipment checks and basic maintenance tasks
– Maintain accurate inventory records by documenting all material movements
– Assist in order picking and packing as needed
– Utilize warehouse management systems to track inventory and orders
Skills:
– Proficiency in operating a forklift and other material handling equipment
– Knowledge of warehouse distribution procedures
– Ability to perform heavy lifting and operate in a fast-paced environment
– Familiarity with order picking processes
– Basic math skills for inventory counting and order verification
– Experience with clamp trucks is a plus
– Mechanical knowledge to troubleshoot minor issues
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $17.30-$21.00 per hour
