Cylinder Handler (Full Time) – Delta, BC
Primary Role:
The Cylinder Handler performs a variety of duties related to the loading, preparation, filling, and shipping of cylinders as required.
Major Responsibilities:
Load / unload trucks & trailers confirming cylinder quantities, styles and product mix
This requires the shunting of trucks, the use of a forklift and proficiency in cylinder handling
Count cylinder loads and warehouse housekeeping
Fill cylinders as required
Perform visual, physical and odor tests on cylinders before filling and determine whether re-testing and /or repairs are necessary
Complete and maintain quality control documentation per company and governmental requirements
Meet established standards for productivity and quality
Bring empty cylinders from outside for filling
Qualifications
High-school diploma or equivalent experience
Other Requirements:
1-2 years related experience within a plant or distribution environment
Forklift operation experience preferred
DZ/Class 3 license nice to have
