Willow Park Wines & Spirits has been providing Albertans with wine, beer, and spirits for over 29 years. In addition to retail, we have the largest commercial liquor business in the industry, stocking the best bars and restaurants throughout the province.
We are looking for a Warehouse Fulfilment Associate to join our team at the Edmonton Distribution Center. We value accuracy and speed so we are in search of people who can pay careful attention on the job, follow instructions precisely, and double-check their work before completing a task. We need an ambitious and hardworking professional who is capable of lifting wine cases above shoulder height (25 lbs.) and moving kegs (150 lbs.), and who can work an entire shift on their feet. Responsibilities and Duties
– Prepare and complete orders for delivery or pickup according to schedule (load, pack, wrap, label, ship).
– Create orders by pulling product from appropriate bins. Put deliveries away into appropriate bins.
– Inspect product for damage and defects.
– Count inventory on a periodic basis.
– Warehouse cleaning and safety practices must be followed. The goal is to increase efficiency, profitability, and customer satisfaction.
– Treat merchandise with care and concern at all times.
– Identify damaged, lost, or missing product and notify management immediately.
– Report directly to the Manager of the Edmonton Warehouse.
Qualifications and Skills
– Organizational and time management skills.
– Capable of lifting wine cases above shoulder height (25 lbs.) and moving kegs (150 lbs.).
– Capable of standing for long periods of time.
– Must be able to understand all written and verbal work orders and instructions.
– Computer skills (Word and Excel).
– Past experience in liquor or in hospitality are both big assets.
