Overview:
We are seeking a reliable and hardworking Warehouse Associate to join our team. As a Warehouse Associate, you will be responsible for various tasks related to warehouse operations, including distribution, fabrication, loading and unloading, and heavy equipment operation. This is a physically demanding role that requires heavy lifting and the ability to operate forklifts and other equipment.
Responsibilities:
– Perform warehouse duties such as receiving, storing, and distributing materials
– Load and unload trucks using appropriate equipment
– Operate a forklift
– Utilize warehouse management systems (WMS) to track inventory and manage orders
– Maintain a clean and organized work environment
– Follow safety procedures and protocols at all times
Requirements:
– Previous experience in a warehouse or distribution center preferred
– Proficient in operating a forklift
– Familiarity with warehouse management systems (WMS), such as AS400
– Ability to lift heavy objects up to 50 lbs and perform physically demanding tasks
– Strong attention to detail and accuracy
– Excellent organizational and time management skills
– Ability to work independently as well as in a team environment
Note: This position requires heavy lifting and the operation of electrical equipment. Safety protocols must be followed at all times.
