We are a state-of-the-art forwarding, warehousing and distribution company. we have a warehouse management system to include voice picking, interleaved put-away/replenishment and licensed plated inventory with RF scanning. Our automation also includes an ERP, CRM, Truckmate, Sage Kronos and other applications to prime us for the present and the future expansions. ContainerWorld actively support Lean Six Sigma concepts.
Position Overview:
ContainerWorld is hiring full time individuals to inspect and verify incoming products, hand bombing, picking orders and other general warehouse duties for shifts of approx. 8-10 hours a day in our fast-paced warehouse environment. Warehouse associates are expected to pick orders that weighs up to 45 lbs. on a regular basis. The job requires physical bending, twisting, kneeling in a safe and efficient manner. Working mainly independently with guidance from Warehouse Supervisor as required, prepare products for shipment, and receive incoming products.
Position & Location: Warehouse Associates – Blundell Rd. Richmond, BC and Annacis Island, Delta
Hourly Wages: $22 Per hour, plus night shift premiums and benefits
Hours of Work:
10:00am-6:30pm (8hr) Monday-Friday
7:00pm-5:30 am (10hr) Monday-Thursday
We need your availability for both the shifts (No permanent shifts)
Job Requirements:
Be at least 19 years of age and legally able to work in Canada
Ability to lift up to 45lb on a regular basis
Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating, maintenance instructions and procedure manuals
Basic math skills a must
Good communication and interpersonal skills
Must be on work permit/ PR/ Citizen holder
