We supply all our jobsites with tools, equipment and supplies to build buildings, while also maintaining equipment to ensure it’s ready when needed. Safety is paramount across all our site locations and within our daily warehouse operations.
We are looking for an energetic Warehouse Associate to receive and ship merchandise and equipment to and from our warehouse. The Warehouse Associate will load and unload delivery vehicles, select products from the warehouse, load and secure goods to pallets, help maintain inventory organization, and deliver items to project sites. As needed the Warehouse Associate will perform deliveries and pickups from our projects and/or vendors in our late model Mercedes Sprinter Van.
This role is based in Port Kells (Surrey), BC.
As a Warehouse Associate your key accountabilities will involve:
Ensuring cleanliness, tidiness, and safety of work environment, including the delivery vehicle.
Loading and unloading delivery vehicles.
Accepting delivery of inventory.
Counting, confirming, labelling, and storing inventory in an accessible manner.
Inspecting inventory, including equipment returning from site, for damage and faults.
Communicating with all relevant parties, including Dispatcher, Warehouse Manager, and
Site Superintendents.
Loading and wrapping stock on pallets.
Assisting with preparation of deliveries.
Building loads with forklift.
Assisting with various warehouse requirements when not doing deliveries.
As a Warehouse Associate your experience and qualifications will include:
18 years of age or older.
A Valid Class 5 Drivers License.
Experience as general laborer, preferably in a warehouse.
Ability to operate forklift is an asset but not necessary.
Ability to lift at least 55lbs and stand/walk for extended periods of time.
Ability to follow instructions, work safely, and work in a fast-paced environment.
Ability to maintain consistent attendance.
Availability to work extended hours as required.
References may be required.
