Job Overview:
As a Warehouse Associate for our design firm, you will play a crucial role in supporting the logistical and operational aspects of our design projects. This role involves the handling, organizing, and tracking of materials and furnishings, ensuring timely and accurate delivery to project sites. The Warehouse Associate will contribute to the overall success of our design projects by maintaining a well-organized and efficient warehouse.
Responsibilities:
Inventory Management:
Receive, inspect, and record incoming design materials, furnishings, and accessories.
Organize and catalog inventory in the warehouse, ensuring accurate and up-to-date records.
Order Fulfillment:
Prepare and pack materials for delivery to project sites, ensuring all items are securely packaged to prevent damage.
Collaborate with project managers and designers to fulfill specific project requirements.
Quality Control:
Inspect incoming and outgoing materials for damages or discrepancies.
Report any issues to supervisors and coordinate with vendors or suppliers for replacements.
Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalen.
Strong organizational and multitasking skills.
Effective communication skills, both written and verbal.
Attention to detail and commitment to maintaining high standards of accuracy.
Ability to stand, sit, and/or walk for extended periods of time.
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time
Pay: $22.30-$25.90 per hour
