Job Summary:
We are seeking a friendly and experienced Server to join our team. As a Server, you will be responsible for providing excellent customer service and ensuring guest satisfaction. Your main duties will include taking food and drink orders, serving meals, and handling payments. Duties:
– Greet and seat guests in a timely and friendly manner
– Present menus and provide detailed information about menu items
– Take food and drink orders accurately and efficiently
– Relay orders to the kitchen staff and ensure timely delivery of meals
– Serve food and beverages to guests
– Check on guests regularly to ensure satisfaction with their meals
– Handle customer inquiries, complaints, and special requests promptly and professionally
– Process payments using cash handling procedures
– Maintain cleanliness of dining areas and workstations
– Collaborate with other team members to provide exceptional guest service
Experience:
– Previous experience in a restaurant or food service setting is preferred
– Knowledge of food preparation, handling, and safety protocols
– Strong customer service skills with the ability to handle difficult situations calmly
– Excellent communication skills to interact effectively with guests and team members
– Basic math skills for accurate order taking and payment processing
