What You'll Do
- Analyze vulnerability reports, CVEs, and exposure scenarios across infrastructure and applications
- Classify severity, impact, exploitability, and remediation strategies based on real-world context
- Review and evaluate patching, mitigation, and remediation decision-making scenarios
- Generate, label, and validate realistic security-reasoning data used to train and improve AI systems
- Apply your practitioner judgment to distinguish theoretical risk from what actually matters in production
Who You Are
- 2+ years of experience in vulnerability management, security operations, or infrastructure security
- Familiar with CVEs, vulnerability scanners, patching workflows, and risk prioritization frameworks
- Comfortable reasoning about the tradeoffs between risk severity and operational impact
- A structured, analytical thinker who can communicate clearly in writing
- Self-motivated and able to work independently on task-based assignments
Nice to Have
- Experience with exposure management platforms or CVSS scoring
- Familiarity with frameworks like NIST, CIS Controls, or MITRE ATT&CK
- Background in red teaming, threat intelligence, or cloud security
- Prior experience contributing to AI or data annotation projects
