We are seeking a Sales and Operations leader in the agricultural equipment manufacturing industry for our client in Winnipeg. The ideal candidate is expected to have proven experience in a senior management roles managing large teams, including cross-functional and multi-location teams. This person will lead over 100 employees across departments such as sales, operations, production, HR, etc. This individual will lead the sales and operations in both USA and Canada.

Who you are

You have about 10 years of senior leadership experience in agriculture leading operations and sales

You can develop, execute, and evaluate strategic plans to meet organizational goals, including production, sales budgets, and P&L objectives.

You have strong skills in developing, nurturing, and reinforcing a culture of teamwork. Experience in managing and developing team managers and cross-functional teams.

You have a deep understanding of sales processes, production planning, inventory management, and service operations. Proven ability to plan, develop, and manage these functions effectively.

You are familiar with franchising and dealership management, reviewing current dealer network, developing action plans to expand business opportunities, and implement promotion and incentive programs for dealers and end users

You have experience in managing operations covering production, implementing pricing strategies, and inventory planning to meet market demands and organizational goals.

You can target, plan and execute initiatives

You have strong financial management skills, with experience in overseeing budgets, financial planning, and performance evaluations to ensure profitability and cost-effectiveness.

You possess strong interpersonal and negotiation skills

You are highly effective in facilitation, presentation and other communication skills

You possess solid business acumen, senior management, and problem-solving skills

You possess strong leadership and time management skills

You are highly adaptable to work in a self-directed, fast-paced manufacturing environment

You have valid passport and can travel internationally on a regular basis

What you do

Create, implement, and refine strategic plans to meet production, sales budgets, and P&L objectives.

Monitor daily operations of sales, production, and other business functions to ensure efficiency and continuous improvement.

Provide leadership and support to direct reports, including sales managers, production supervisors, and HR managers, fostering a culture of teamwork.

Review, analyze, and guide sales activities to achieve targets, including setting annual and quarterly sales goals.

Participate in the creation and review of annual budgets and financial forecasts, ensuring adherence to financial goals and budgetary constraints.

Develop and implement production schedules, inventory plans, and product pricing strategies to meet market demands and organizational targets.

Periodically assess the dealer network, creating and executing plans to expand business opportunities and enhance market presence.

Oversee the development and implementation of production programs, promotional incentives, and sales initiatives.

Ensure cohesive execution of business strategies through regular coordination with other departments, such as marketing and finance.
