The Opportunity
Triton is seeking a Vice President, Finance to serve as a key member of the Senior Leadership Team and a trusted business partner to the President and executive peers. This is a hands-on and strategic role, responsible for leading Finance and Legal while helping shape and execute our business strategy.
Key Responsibilities
Senior Leadership
- Actively contribute as a member of the Senior Leadership Team
- Participate in enterprise-wide strategic planning and execution
- Serve as a trusted advisor to the President and SLT on financial and business matters
Finance & Accounting Leadership
- Lead all core finance and accounting functions, including:
- Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable
- Cash flow management and forecasting
- Monthly close, reporting, and financial statements
- P&L forecasting and variance analysis
- KPI reporting and performance insights
- Own financial planning, budgeting, and regular forecasting processes
- Work closely with external accountants, auditors, and banking partners
- Ensure strong financial controls, discipline, and transparency
FP&A and Data & Analytics
- Oversee FP&A functions in a transactional (non-SaaS) business environment
- Lead financial modelling, forecasting, and planning
- Use analytics to drive insight into revenue trends, performance, and future growth
Legal & Risk Oversight
- Provide oversight of legal and compliance activities, including:
- Client contracts
- Risk management
- Security and governance practices
- Partner with internal and external legal counsel to ensure compliance and risk mitigation
People Leadership
- Lead a team of approximately 7, with 3 direct reports
- Build a high-performing, collaborative, and accountable team
- Foster a culture of trust, transparency, and open communication
Experience & Qualifications
- CPA designation required
- 5–10+ years of experience in a business-focused finance role (not purely accounting)
- Proven ability to operate both strategically and hands-on
- Experience partnering with senior leaders and influencing business outcomes
- Strong commercial acumen and analytical capability
- Comfortable working in a growth-oriented, transactional business environment
