Job Description
Reporting directly to the Chief Business Development Officer, the key responsibility of this position is to develop and close new business opportunities with financial advisors and planners. This
dynamic
role is all about driving growth! You’ll contribute to the expansion of our Advisor and Planner base by showcasing Optimize’s
innovative
Platform using a
collaborative
sales approach to foster and grow new business opportunities.
You’ll not only contribute to the
leadership
of the team but also brainstorm strategies to supercharge overall sales and client base expansion. Plus, your insights and contributions during team meetings and
strategic planning
sessions will play a central role in shaping our firm’s upward trajectory. If you are a strategic leader with a

Your role
will require you to:
Recruit high-end Financial Professionals to our firm.
Progress potential advisors and planners through the entire sales and recruitment process, including due diligence, presentation, negotiation, and closing.
Execute on our corporate development strategy to achieve our company’s overall vision and growth objectives.
Identify and evaluate potential opportunities to enhance our service offerings and market presence within the advisor and planner communities.
Maintain and strengthen relationships with advisors and planners throughout their transition process to our company.
Drive strategic partnerships and alliances that support our business goals and broaden our client base.
Collaborate with
senior leadership
to assess market trends, competitive landscape, and emerging opportunities.
Must-have:
A minimum of 10 years’ industry experience
Proven client acquisition skills including experience in direct sales, presentation skills, networking, and relationship building
Superior ability to host sales presentations and close deals
A passion for sales and track record of success
Excellent
attention to detail
Experience and ability to use CRM systems
Ability to
prioritize and work under deadlines
Nice-to-have:
Completion of the Canadian Securities Course (CSC)
