Job Description
Main Responsibilities:
Receive large trucks of food waste.
Load hoppers using JCB Telehandler.
Using forklift, monitor and emptying of bins.
Assist on conveyor belt clean-ups .
Janitorial duties throughout the plant.
Maintain clean processing floor area.
Assist maintenance department as required.
Record daily instrument readings.
Assist machine operators, loader operators as required.
Clean work areas and equipment.
Perform other duties as assigned by your supervisor.
Qualifications
Knowledge, Skills and Talents:
Must hold a valid Forklift license; other equipment such as payloader, heavy equipment or telehandler licence is an asset.
1-2 years of experience as a utility worker or related field.
Attentive to details.
Must be proactive in a fast-paced environment, with repetitive tasks.
Good physical and manual ability, as the position is phisically demanding.
Must be comfortable to stand for extended periods.
Ponctuality is of great importance.
Deadline oriented.
Work well with others.
Good hand eye coordination.
Repetitive motions required.
Strong communication skills (reading text, document use, numeracy, writing, oral communication).
Work Site Environment:
Can get dusty, recycling odour.
Transportation/Travel Information: Own transportation required.
Rotating through-out the facility as required.
Work Hours:
Temporary position of aproximatively 4 months
Full-time, Rotating shifts, Days/Afternoons
Monday – Friday; Dayshift 6:00 AM- 2:00 PM / Afternoons 2:00 PM / 10:00 PM
