Underground Mechanic – Multiple Sites
The role of the Underground Mechanic is to provide preventative maintenance and repairs to diesel, electrical, hydraulic and air operated equipment. The mechanic is expected to work as part of a team to troubleshoot issues and find a solution in a safe, efficient manner. They must exhibit strong attention to detail and comprehension of written and verbal instructions distributed by the Lead Mechanic.
Drive-in Mine Site
14/14 rotation or 7 /7 rotation rotating between days and nights.
Client approved Site access.
Drug and Alcohol Test.
Criminal Record Check for certain sites
Qualifications
- Valid Ontario Mechanic License or equivalent
- Ontario Hard Rock Underground Common Core an asset
- Previous underground mechanic experience an asset
- Knowledge of underground equipment an asset
- Ability to recognize and resolve problems as required
- Ability to work well with others
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $40.00-$65.00 per hour
