Undergraduate Student Research Assistant, DARE Program The Department of Indigenous Studies is situated within the College of Arts and Science and takes an
interdisciplinary
academic focus.
We offer
BA, BA Honours, MA, and PhD programs. A
dynamic
unit, we currently have 9 faculty members, including two research chairs, with additional associate and adjunct members from other departments and institutions. Indigenous Studies is dedicated to the development of applied and theoretical investigations of Indigenous concerns and strategic community-based research. It is also dedicated to servicing the Indigenous Studies content needs of other academic programs in the university on and off-campus.
