Position Overview:
We are seeking a motivated UI/UX Design Intern to join our team for a 3 to 6-month internship, working 10 to 20 hours per week. This unpaid position is ideal for College or University students seeking internship credit or experience in the fields of UI/UX design, graphic design, product design, digital design, web design, or related fields.
The intern will gain hands-on experience creating user-friendly designs, developing digital experiences, building prototypes, and learning best practices from experienced team members.
Responsibilities:
- Creating wireframes, mockups, and prototypes for digital platforms
- Designing user interfaces for websites, applications, and digital products
- Assisting with improving user experience and user journeys
- Collaborating with developers, marketers, and team members on design projects
- Conducting research to understand user needs and improve designs
- Creating and maintaining design assets and documentation
- Reviewing existing designs and suggesting improvements
- Staying updated with current UI/UX trends and design practices
Requirements:
- Currently enrolled in College or University in a relevant field
- Basic understanding of UI/UX design principles and processes
- Experience with design tools such as Figma, Adobe XD, Sketch, or similar tools
- Understanding of wireframing, prototyping, and user flows
- Strong attention to detail and creative problem-solving skills
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively
- Portfolio or sample design work is preferred
