Shipper-Receiver – Shipping & Receiving

Role:
The Shipper/Receiver is responsible for the distribution of raw materials and finished goods in and out of the plant.
Responsibilities (include but not limited to):
Is a safety advocate; lead by example by complying with all plant and Occupational Health and Safety policies.
Ensure accuracy of incoming and outgoing material by verifying against paperwork
Work closely and communicate with the Shipping and Receiving department
Perform routine Inventory Control functions.
Accountable for the Shipping and Receiving process, quality and material flow.
Additional duties as assigned.
Experience, Education and Skills:
Good computer skills
Good communication and interpersonal skills; a team player
Safety awareness
Able to multi-task in a fast paced environment
Attention to detail
Previous shipping and receiving experience will be given preference.
Compensation
Starting wage – $22/ hour + shift premium $2.00/hour
Tiered wage increases @ 3 months, 8 months and 12 months
