Overview
We are seeking a skilled and dependable Truck Driver to join our transportation team. This role involves safely operating commercial vehicles to deliver freight efficiently and on time. The ideal candidate will have experience in commercial driving, heavy equipment operation, and possess a strong commitment to safety and customer service. Duties
- Safely operate trucks for local or regional freight deliveries, adhering to all traffic laws and safety regulations
- Load and unload freight using forklifts or other heavy equipment as necessary, ensuring proper handling and securing of cargo
- Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of vehicles to ensure safety and compliance with company standards
- Maintain accurate delivery logs, driver logs, and other required documentation
- Perform basic automotive repairs or troubleshooting when needed to ensure vehicle readiness
- Communicate effectively with dispatchers, warehouse staff, and clients regarding delivery schedules and any issues that arise
- Assist with warehouse operations including freight handling, inventory management, and equipment operation as needed
Requirements
- Valid commercial driver’s license (CDL) with a clean driving record
- Experience in commercial driving, freight transportation, or related fields
- Ability to operate forklifts, heavy equipment, and perform basic automotive repairs is preferred
- Strong knowledge of safety protocols related to heavy equipment operation and freight handling
- Ability to lift heavy loads and perform physically demanding tasks regularly
- Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail in documentation and safety procedures
- Prior experience with automotive repair or troubleshooting is a plus
- Must pass background checks and drug screening prior to employment
This position is vital for maintaining efficient logistics operations and ensuring timely delivery of freight while upholding safety standards across all activities.

Pay: $2,000.00-$2,800.00 per week
