Truck Driver – Class 1 Jobs in Winnipeg at DCl logistics Inc.
Responsibilities:
– Safely operate a truck to transport goods and materials to designated locations
– Load and unload cargo using appropriate equipment, such as forklifts
– Perform routine inspections and maintenance on the truck to ensure its safe operation
– Follow all traffic laws and regulations while driving
– Maintain accurate records of deliveries, including time of departure, arrival, and any incidents that may occur
– Communicate effectively with dispatchers, customers, and other team members
Experience:
– Valid commercial driver’s license (CDL) with a clean driving record
– Proven experience as a truck driver or in a similar role
– Knowledge of automotive repair and maintenance procedures is a plus
– Ability to operate a forklift is preferred but not required
– Excellent time management skills and the ability to meet delivery deadlines
– Strong communication skills and the ability to work well in a team environment
