Ground crew –

A CDL driver will be assisting the ground crew- members of the ground crew perform large tree operations by operating equipment, facilitating clean up, and assisting in rigging operations for pruning and removal. They are responsible for operating most of the machinery and driving work vehicles, and are critical for maintaining a safe and productive work environment. This job is physical- but not overly so. We use machines to move material and save our backs. The ability to pace yourself is much more useful to applicants than anything else. Expect this job to keep you fit, but not to stress you physically.
We are looking for employees who are responsible, hard-working and have an interest in arboriculture. We will consider candidates seeking full-time or part-time, and offer competitive wages. We run a drug-free workplace and hires may be subject to screening.
This position is a doorway to other positions within our company. Members of the ground crew may be selected for further industry training into critical roles. These roles may include: Plant Health Care Technician, Production Arborist, and Climbing Arborist.
General Requirements:
– Valid Commercial Drivers License (Class B or Better)
– Mechanical aptitude
– Ability to work in high stress environments
– Work ethic
– Candidates must consider themselves physically fit for position of interest
Experience:
- Ground Crew
– Class B drivers license or better
– Preferred experienced in minor mechanical repairs

- -Experience in tree care or with power equipment is beneficial, but not necessary. On the job training will be provided.
