Our client is currently seeking a highly motivated Treasury Analyst to join their dynamic team in Toronto. The Treasury Analyst will play a pivotal role in supporting the Treasury department, focusing on cash management, forecasting, reporting, bank account management, and other treasury-related tasks. This role offers the opportunity to collaborate with internal stakeholders across different office locations and external partners.
Responsibilities
Assist with daily cash management activities, including:
Processing payments and monitoring balances.
Managing foreign exchange transactions.
Overseeing credit facility transactions.
Prepare various financial reports at month-end and quarter-end, including
Utilizing data analytics to enhance reporting accuracy and scope.
Handle tasks related to bank accounts, including:
Establishing new accounts and maintaining databases.
Staying informed about industry trends.
Support vendor approval processes, including:
Conducting vendor callbacks for electronic payment instructions.
Preparing ad hoc credit applications.
Administer corporate card programs and participate in cross-functional initiatives.
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field.
Minimum of 2 years of experience in treasury or related roles.
Strong analytical skills with proficiency in MS Office Suite (especially Excel).
Experience with treasury management systems is preferred.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Detail-oriented with the ability to manage multiple tasks under tight deadlines.
