As the Health and Safety Supervisor for Toronto and Region Conservation Authority (TRCA), you will direct a pivotal program designed to protect and enhance workplace safety across multiple sites. Your responsibilities will include developing strategies and conducting thorough evaluations to maintain compliance. This managerial position requires collaboration with specialists and external agents to innovate and uphold best practices in health and safety.
Key Responsibilities:
• Lead the execution of the Health and Safety Management Program
• Develop and revise health and safety policies effectively
• Execute organizational safety audits and risk assessments
• Facilitate workplace safety training sessions
• Manage incidents, providing WSIB case guidance
Requirements:
• Degree or diploma in Health & Safety or similar
• 4+ years of safety management experience
• 1+ years of leadership experience
• Strong expertise in health and safety protocols
• Valid Ontario Class G2 driver’s license
