Traveling Construction Superintendent Jobs in Royersford, PA at J.L. Moore, Inc.
J.L. Moore is a commercial general contracting and design-build firm. We are seeking multiple experienced Commercial Superintendents to lead on-site construction for restaurant projects including new construction and renovations. Typical project sizes ranging from $1M–$5M. We have immediate openings for major restaurant renovations in the Royersford, PA and Reading, PA areas. The majority of our projects are in Ohio and Pennsylvania.
Key Responsibilities
- Daily on-site management of all construction activities from mobilization through closeout
- Development and execution of project schedules, short-interval plans, and look-ahead coordination
- Leadership of subcontractors to achieve production, quality, and safety expectations
- Enforcement of jobsite safety programs and OSHA compliance
- Coordination of inspections, testing, and municipal requirements
- Management of field documentation including daily reports, RFIs, submittals, and as-builts
- Collaboration with Project Managers on budgets, change orders, and client communication
- Delivery of clean, organized, and professional jobsites that reflect our brand and standards

- Strong, professional communication with subcontractors and clients
- Accurate and timely field documentation
- Safe job sites with proactive risk management
Qualifications
- 7+ years of superintendent experience in commercial construction
- Proven background in ground-up construction and interior renovations/build-outs
- Ability to read and interpret drawings, specifications, and scopes of work
- Strong scheduling and subcontractor coordination skills
- Excellent communication and problem-solving ability
- Proficiency with construction technology (Procore or similar)
