Role Description
This full-time Transport Dispatch role is based on-site in Georgetown, ON. The Dispatch professional will manage day-to-day scheduling and coordination of drivers and fleet operations, ensuring timely and efficient delivery of services. Key responsibilities include assigning loads, communicating routes, monitoring vehicle performance, resolving logistics issues, and maintaining compliance with regulations. The role requires close collaboration with drivers, clients, and internal teams to guarantee customer satisfaction and operational efficiency.
Qualifications
- Strong communication, organizational, and multitasking skills to efficiently manage dispatch operations and ensure seamless coordination.
- Proven ability to plan routes, schedule vehicles, and resolve logistics challenges under time-sensitive conditions.
- Knowledge of transportation regulations and compliance standards relevant to the trucking and logistics industry.
- Technical proficiency in using dispatching software, GPS systems, and logistics management tools.
