Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Tool Crib Attendant to join our team. This role requires strong skills in supply chain management, warehouse distribution, and inventory control to support our operational needs effectively.
Responsibilities
- Maintain accurate inventory records and manage the flow of tools and equipment within the tool crib.
- Perform regular audits of tool inventory to ensure proper stock levels and identify any discrepancies.
- Assist with purchasing and sourcing of new tools and equipment as needed.
- The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing the inventory of tools and equipment, ensuring that all items are properly stocked, organized, and maintained.
- Collaborate with other departments to understand their tool requirements and facilitate timely order fulfillment.
- Implement process improvements to enhance efficiency in tool management and distribution.
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations regarding materials handling and storage.
- Perform fit test and other task associated with equipment fitment.
- Other task as required.
Experience
- Understanding of tools and dimensions.
- Great math skills.
- Excellent computer skills
- Familiarity with procurement processes, negotiation techniques, and supplier management.
- Ability to perform heavy lifting as required for stocking tools and equipment.
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Pay: $19.00-$20.00 per hour
