Timeshare Housekeeper/Unit Cleaner – Full-Time Jobs in Princeville, HI at The Cliffs at Princeville
We are seeking a dependable and detail-oriented Timeshare Housekeeper/Unit Cleaner to prepare resort units to our cleanliness and quality standards. This position is responsible for cleaning and maintaining guest accommodations, reporting maintenance concerns, and providing courteous service to guests while working as part of the housekeeping team. Principal responsibilities include cleaning guest rooms as assigned by housekeeping manager or supervisor according to our housekeeping standards.
What you’ll do:
– Clean and prepare guest units, including bedrooms, bathrooms, kitchens, living areas, lanais, and entryways.
– Make beds, replace linens and towels, restock amenities, and remove trash.
– Vacuum, dust, sweep, mop, sanitize, and polish surfaces throughout assigned units.
– Clean and sanitize kitchen appliances, countertops, sinks, cabinets, refrigerators, and dishwashers.
– Clean and sanitize bathrooms, including toilets, tubs, showers, mirrors, vanities, and floors.
– Inspect rooms for cleanliness, missing items, damages, and maintenance concerns, reporting issues promptly to the supervisor.
– Verify unit inventory and replace or report missing or damaged items.
– Safely operate housekeeping equipment, including vacuums and cleaning tools, while following chemical safety procedures.
– Maintain housekeeping carts and supplies to ensure readiness for daily assignments.
– Secure units after cleaning and accurately update room status and assignment records.
– Respond professionally and courteously to guest requests and work cooperatively with fellow team members.
– Perform deep cleaning projects and ready-unit inspections as assigned.
What we’re looking for:
– Previous housekeeping, hotel, resort, or professional experience is highly preferred.
– Ability to follow written and verbal instructions
– Strong attention to detail and commitment to cleanliness.
– Excellent customer service and teamwork skills.
– Reliable, dependable, able to work independently.
– Flexible in their schedule and can work our major check-in days: Friday through Sunday, and including holidays.
– Currently residing on Kauai – Required.
