Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site role based in Edmonton, AB. As a Tier II Technician – Remote & Field Support, you will be responsible for providing technical support for desktop computers, troubleshooting hardware and software issues, and performing computer repair tasks. Additionally, you will deliver field support to clients, assist with system upgrades and maintenance, and ensure optimal system performance and reliability. You will play a key role in supporting our clients’ operations by delivering dependable and effective IT solutions.
Qualifications
- Proficiency in Field Support and providing client-facing technical assistance
- Experience with maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing Desktop Computers
- Strong Technical Support expertise, including diagnosing and resolving software and hardware issues
- Ability to perform advanced Troubleshooting and Computer Repair efficiently
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to effectively interact with clients and team members
- Ability to adapt to a fast-paced and dynamic work environment
- Relevant certifications such as CompTIA A+, Microsoft certifications, or equivalent (preferred)
- Driver’s license and reliable mode of transportation for field support visits
- Experience in IT support for businesses or non-profit organizations is a plus
