We are seeking a highly motivated Cannabis Dispensary Manager to lead our team at The Green Box Cannabis in Wynyard. This role is vital in ensuring smooth operations, compliance, and delivering an exceptional customer experience.
Responsibilities
Oversee daily store operations, ensuring compliance with all regulations.
- Lead, train, and motivate staff to achieve sales and customer service goals.
- Manage inventory, merchandising, and ordering activities.
- Implement marketing strategies to attract and retain customers.
- Handle administrative tasks including timesheets, budgeting, and cash handling.
- Foster a positive team environment through effective communication and leadership.
- Ensure adherence to safety standards, company policies and SLGA compliance.
- Maintaining a high level of product knowledge and ensuring a positive customer experience.
- Complying with all provincial and federal regulations regarding cannabis products. Maintaining a profound knowledge of the SLGA Handbook and changes to provincial and federal cannabis rules and regulations.
- Maintaining a tidy, safe and inviting store environment by following the set cleaning schedule.
- Knowledge of the Point of the Sale system
- Lift up to 50 pounds
- Assisting with cannabis and non-cannabis orders, monthly federal compliance submissions, checking and replying to daily emails.
- Setting up cannabis product visits and pop-ups
- Initiating ideas for sales, promotions and draws
- Complying and working with SLGA inspectors
