Job description :
The Territory Manager is responsible for driving sales growth of equipment and services within an assigned territory. The role focuses on developing new business, managing existing accounts, and ensuring a strong and consistent customer experience while achieving revenue and profitability targets.
He manages the entire sales cycle (prospecting, presentations, negotiations, and follow-up) while ensuring that revenue and profitability targets are met. He also serves as the primary point of contact for customers, ensuring their satisfaction and the effective resolution of issues.
The role involves close collaboration with internal teams (service and parts) to ensure an optimal customer experience and effective oversight of operations.
Key Responsibilities:
Actively prospect and develop new business opportunities
Manage and grow an existing customer portfolio
Promote and sell products and solutions aligned with customer needs
Implement sales strategies to achieve and exceed targets
Manage the full sales cycle (prospecting, quoting, negotiation, closing)
Prepare proposals, respond to RFQs/tenders, and follow up on opportunities
Maintain strong knowledge of products, market trends, and competitors
Customer Relationship Management:
Build and maintain long-term client relationships
Conduct regular customer visits across the territory
Address customer concerns and ensure high satisfaction
Internal
Collaboration:
Work closely with service and parts teams to support customers
Ensure smooth communication and coordination on orders and projects
Participate in internal training and team initiatives
Contribute to sales forecasting and territory planning
Manage time and territory efficiently to maximize results
Skills and qualifications :
Strong knowledge of the automotive industry and its key players within the province
Experience in B2B sales, ideally in a technical environment
Strong business development and territory management skills
Excellent communication and relationship-building abilities
Self-driven, organized, and results-oriented
