Overviews:
We are seeking a highly motivated individual to join our team as a Casual Cement Terminal Operator Assistant. The ideal candidate will have a mechanical aptitude, be committed to safety, and have a willingness to learn. The hours for this role are highly flexible, ranging from 0 to 40 hours per week depending on business needs.

Responsibilities:
Manual labor as required (paint, cut grass, minor upgrades to facility, etc)
Monitor and control equipment to ensure the safe and accurate movement of materials.
Conduct routine inspections and maintenance of terminal equipment.
Conduct regular safety checks on equipment and identify/report potential issues.
Adhere to safety protocols and procedures.
Work as a team and receive direction from the Terminal Operator
Willingness to travel and aid in the operation of other Terminals in the network
Work in a small active railyard (training supplied)

Qualifications:
High School Diploma or equivalent.
Mechanical aptitude.
Previous experience in a similar role or industrial setting is a plus but not mandatory.
Ability to work at heights, in confined spaces, near water, around moving equipment, and physically able to lift up to 50 lb.

Compensation:
Hourly pay rate of $30.00 to $34.00 depending on experience.
