Temporary Works Engineer Jobs in New Westminster at ALA Engineering Inc.
Our small engineering firm located in downtown New Westminster is looking for an experienced structural engineer with a background in temporary works.
Responsibilities:
- Produce drawings and calculations for temporary works including but not limited to formwork, shoring, falsework and scaffolding.
- Ability to review peer drawings prior to approval by Principal Engineer and to ensure compliance with engineering standards.
- Perform site visits as needed.
- Mentor junior designers.
Requirements:
- Minimum 4+ years experience with temporary works.
- Proficiency in structural design software such as AutoCAD, Revit, RFEM, RSTAB, Tekla, etc.
- P.Eng. preferred, however, E.I.T registered with EGBC will be considered.
- Good communication and leadership skills.
Compensation:
Base compensation starts from 80k+ with a comprehensive medical benefits package and generous vacation leave.
Our office is conveniently located close to a Skytrain Station and has wonderful views of the Fraser River.
Pay: $80,000.00-$85,000.00 per year
